Park at the Wapta Lake Picnic Area (unsigned). The trail starts
just right beside the picnic shelter.
(2) For about an hour and a half we reached the old fire
lookout. The trail is clearly signed for the two forks we
passed and is well used. From the Lookout, only a false summit
is visible. We were fooled by it thinking we were very close.
(1) As you ascend higher up the rubble, you'll see the true
summit... no wait, it's another false summit.

The weather was just perfect. A good break from a rainy and
cloudy weekend.

Walk for about three minutes to a slightly higher point to sign
the register.
(2) We were both satisfied with the views on this short mountain.
This is Sherbrook Lake and Mount Ogden. My favourite is the
photo below. Mount Niles, the vanishing Niles Glacier, and
the Pyramid.
This easy scramble took us 3:00hrs up and 2:30hrs down.
