August 31, 2005. We left the next day at 10am. It was a beautiful warm day.
This part of the trail is considered to be the most difficult part. It was a mixture of beach and forest hike with lots of uphill and downhill.

Some part of the trails are aided with some man made tree steps. Some are rocky.

Here's the second canopy at KM24. This area is already past the Chin Beach, where we were supposed to spend our second night. We still had enough energy and time to go on so we proceeded to the next campground, Sombrio Beach.

From this spot, we could already see Sombrio Beach. The most annoying part was, it was still an hour away. It was the longest drag ever.

Camping on Sombrio Beach and our day 3 is next.
