February 28 , 2007. Here's our second visit to the highest summit of Bukhansan National Park in Seoul. This day was very clear compared to my last visit.
There were not a lot of people hiking on this day... pretty unusual... but there were a lot of 10yr-old kids. This is not an easy mountain to hike so it took a lot of guts for the parents to bring their kids here. Speaking of guts, the last photo shows a couple of guys attempting to rappel down the smooth wall of Insubong.
At this moment they did not have any sort of anchor to protect them from falling to their ultimate demise.
