August 12, 2006. This would be our first night in Jeju, camping on Sinyang Beach. This beach is located on the eastern-most coast of the island and we settled here after visiting Manjanggul Cave.
The bus doesn't go directly to this beach so we had to walk for about 2kms from the bus stop. The campground is huge and we didn't get charge for camping. This area offers a seaweedy smell beach, a pay shower, and an expensive bottle of water. It was a good thing we shopped for supplies at a local market. It was strange that people here swim in their "normal" clothes... just felt like mentioning it.
We woke up early the next day for a hike to Sunrise Peak.
