(1) Looking back to the main summit.
Leaving the tower summit was not easy. I had to hike through
a rocky cliff to get around the other side of the tower.
I then found a military road and I followed it until it
started leaving the ridge.
(2) This is one of the many crux on this mountain.
I really admire these women's guts.
(1)
Half hour from the tower summit to the second flagged summit.
(2) Looking back to the tower summit.
(1)
Here's my traverse ridge from the second flagged summit. Gwanak
Station is behind the first 2 bumps.
(2) This is the remainding ridge down to Gwanak Park. It's
still a long way.
I seriously don't know how they manage to pass this crux. Old
people here must really be in good shape. I got to start drinking
more soju.
It took me 1hr from the last summit down to Gwanak Park.
My over all traverse time from Gwanak Station to Gwanak Park
was 4 hours.
Gwanak Park
I ended up at Gwanak Park when I left the mountain.
This small park is clean, close to a stream running
from the mountain, has a small pond and surrounded by
beautiful forest and flowers. It's an ideal place to
rest after a very long hike.
