Chocolate Hills |
May 25 , 2007. This site might be the most popular tourist destination in Bohol. These are like giant boobies. Over a thousand of them. Stare and nobody would care. To get a better look, climb the 214 steps to the viewpoint.
During the wet season, these hills would be covered with fresh green grass... and the name would not make sense. Only during the dry season would these hills turn chocolatey.
From Tagbilaran, take a jeepney to Dao Bus Terminal (P6/p, 15mins). Take the bus bound for Carmen (P55/p, 2hrs) and ask the driver to stop at Chocolate Hills. Walk for about 10mins to the tourist bus drop-off area. |
